Just to clarify...
Weekly Innings Pitched Limit/Maximum? Or Minimum?

There is no max limit, only a limit on player acquisitions per week, which is set at 7/week to limit the streaming overkill.

I don't understand the question posed by 3 fingers. Why would you cap innings pitched in a week? A minimum amount of innings I would agree should be 30? But a maximum..no

This is a minimum innings limit, not a maximum. This prevents people from loading up on RP’s or completely punting after a strong Monday where ERA and Whip would be stolen. It really was never an issue during the year to be honest, if anything the complaint was people streaming, but even that was not too abusive in my opinion, as you can only add 7 players weekly, so really just one spot daily could be streamed, and streaming with the free agent garbage is hardly a guarantee at anything except an inflated whip and era.

And for clarity, if a team does not reach 35 IP`s for the week, they would lose all the pitching cats. for the week. With 5 SP slots and 5 RP slots, and the possibility to stream 7 pitchers in a week, 35 will not be a problem, I am beginning to think CrazyShady may have it right with 50.

50 is too high. There were many instances where teams would have had zeros last season if that was the case. And this wasn’t do to holding pitchers back or any shady stuff, it’s just how the week happened to land for their pitchers, to be forced to drop a player to add a crap starter off of waivers just to reach the minimum limit isn’t the intent. 35 is plenty to avoid the all RP squad which is what the intent here is. I won’t agree to a higher limit.

Looks like the vast majority want 35 IP to be the new minimum. So we will amend the constitution to reflect this.
