Just asking how others deal with trade situations. You put up an OTB, more than one asks about a player. Do you deal with one person at a time and leave the others hanging. I personally will not make the comment that others are interested, when said to me I feel like that is a trading ploy. On the other hand if you are dealing with 2 or more people, you might end up making one mad if you take another trade in the middle of dealing. Just asking for some advice.

I always assume everyone else is going after the same player I am, I give the offer I am comfortable giving for said player(s). If I lose out so be it. When I have someone OTB I will negotiate with multiple teams at once and they should always assume someone else is also bidding, if they don’t get the player they need to suck it up, it’s not personal. If you can use multiple teams to bid against each other (as Nathan did with the #1 milb pick) more power to them.

Do whatever makes you comfortable but just don’t be upset if someone has a different opinion on it then you do and goes about it differently. Just because someone has a different trading style doesn’t mean it’s personal against you, and this game is too fun to get upset about it. Some people may use it as a ploy and others may use it as an explanation on why it’s taking a while. Personally, I have no problem negotiating with multiple people at a time and occasionally letting everyone know that’s what is happening. Sometimes I appreciate it actually. Just my opinion and I respect however you feel about it.
