Hey guys, I got a question. I got a bunch of questions actually but I asked the commissioner a few of them but thought I'd ask this here.
Is our roster considered illegal if it is not full? For example, would I be allowed to drop a relief pitcher for a bench hitter, leaving me with only 4 relief pitchers?
I read over the Constitution in the roster section I couldn't seem to find the answer.
Thanks dudes.

Or even more extreme, if I wanted to punt RP categories, could I drop all RPs for SPs or hitters?
Thx.

read posts further down in Q&A (This was something that was brought up to me). I think the intent was for all starting roster spots to be filled with players but the answer below says it only applies to pre-season and end of season. I'll leave it to commish to clarify further if it is different.

Rosters must be legal post draft and prior to the start of any season deadline (Dec 31st in future years per the rules) This doesn't only mean having rosters down to the 30 players but also ensuring that all positions are also filled. So rosters must have 5 sp and 5 rp (can't just load up on one or the other) and Catcher slot must also be manned (good luck finding 12 that are worthy lol). In season, the restrictions lift as yahoo doesn't really regulate it and as a daily league it would be near impossible to enforce. If anyone has an issue with this please voice your opinion now. Thanks

Perfect. Thanks for that. I kinda skimmed the Q&A but didn't go through the threads
Appreciate it greatly, seems pretty clear
